FAQs

At least once a day, Lynndi Lauper and Doctor nln ask each other this question. But it's really code for 'share your workout plan'. And if there is no workout plan, the convo gets even more supercharged as it turns to special topics like injuries, therapies, out of town guests, extensive travel requirements of the gig, or exhaustion. And the other most FAQ is "What are you eating for dinner?" Doctor nln and Lynndi have so much combined knowledge that blogging it was inevitable.

Witness as we beat ourselves up with hideous workout plans and then gorge on lemon heads and sugar free ice cream.

Staying in shape derby style...

I am a big fan of making valuable use of time between clients. Today I did in the morning 11 push-ups, 33 situps, and squat for 1:30. I did this again in the afternoon. This evening was turbo jam which is a combo of kickboxing and aerobics..good for endurance. I took it easy yesterday..derby can get rough as you can see I have bruised hips and ribs. They are superficial but still hurt. Luckily I'm healing quickly as tomorrow morning is scrimmage! (hips)
(Ribs)

  1. Yo, Slamma!
Thanks for the informative AND gory post! I wish I had new injury photos to post, but sadly, all my tragedies of the last week or so were unphotographable.
P.S. I love the turbo stuff, especially the boxing moves.
