FAQs

At least once a day, Lynndi Lauper and Doctor nln ask each other this question. But it's really code for 'share your workout plan'. And if there is no workout plan, the convo gets even more supercharged as it turns to special topics like injuries, therapies, out of town guests, extensive travel requirements of the gig, or exhaustion. And the other most FAQ is "What are you eating for dinner?" Doctor nln and Lynndi have so much combined knowledge that blogging it was inevitable.

Witness as we beat ourselves up with hideous workout plans and then gorge on lemon heads and sugar free ice cream.

It's beginning to look a lot like baseline!

Dr. nln is happy to report that she is getting close to her baseline running (which is 6 miles 4 times per week). Currently she has done two six mile runs. This may not seem like such a big deal, but when you consider that last year at this time she was still on the physical therapy table and was not allowed to even run ONE mile, this is quite the accomplishment.

Tomorrow will (hopefully) be six mile run #3. There will also be a whole lotta core work tomorrow since there was no core work today.

Dr. nln heard that one Lynndi Lauper was going to group fitness session and wonders how it went and what occurred there???

  1. I was the only group member who showed up. It was mostly getting used to the TRX straps, but I like using those courts for laps, even if the trainer makes you go slow, because the rooms are so long that laps actually mean something. When we got done there, he asked if I wanted to play with the heavy ropes, and of course I did. So I did kettle tosses in between different rope moves. That was nice!
